More of Freckles
I caught Freckles in the yard. Part of his tail had been cut off. The tail incident, most likely came from a "too" close encounter with a lawn mower. Only the lower portion of the tail had been snipped, so he suffered no real damage or injury . But, I did keep him long enough for the tail to heal over completely before I relocated him back into the wild.
Here is Freckles playing hide and seek in a piece of hollow log in his enclosure. It was his favorite place to hide.
Freckles had an enormous appetite when it came to anoles. He'd eat 3-4 each feeding. It's a good anoles are common to these parts.
Freckles was just about finished with his anole snack in this picture. You can still see some of the anole visible in his mouth.
Freckles is handfull in this picture. Very docile in nature unless you had he scent of an anole or another snake on your hands.
