My name is Brandy. I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in a rural town not too far from Biloxi. I come from your typical middle American dream family... supportive, loving parents that are still together after 36 years, a comfortable home, the fenced in spacious yard, and of course the family dog(s).
I was an only child--a spoiled pageant winner in satin and lace by morning and a barefoot, tree climbing tom boy by day. I was very active, very athletic, and extremely competitive until a freak accident left me in the hospital for a month, traction for nine months, and on crutches for over two years. During that time, I turned my competitive nature toward academics. Determined to master as many new subjects as possible, I landed myself in the WINGS program (Winning instructions for Gifted Students--a special program designed to challenge intellectually gifted students) by the second grade. A trend that quickly landed me in Honor's Programs and paid my way through college.
In general, I tend to be shy in crowds but a bit high strung when in the company of friends, engaged in a reptilian oriented conversation, or have had a social drink or two.
