Meet Donovan "Bubba"
Donoavan is . . .
Fun Facts:
a Boa Constrictor. He is one of the newer snakes to my collection. He was given to me by a member of the police department who obtained the snake from the walls of an elderly couples' home.
Donovan is a male boa constrictor that has a very grey/ashen pigment along his sides.
I jokingly nicknamed him "Bubba" as a tribute to the Big D and Bubba radio show since I call Dameon "Big D"
He is over 5 feet in length and weighs just over the 10 pound mark
More about my pet:
All boa constrictors (and snakes for that matter) are escape artists and should be housed to prevent such incidents. I have no clue who the snake's previous owner was or how long he was without food, water, or heat. I just know that he is ravenous and aggressive after his ordeal. It is my hope that through love, time, and trust this snake will be able to overcome this trauma and function as a docile, well integrated member of my collection.
He is not very friendly at the moment, though he has never bit me.
He is a heavy eater of pre-killed rats and is always hungry.
