The Washington Times claims that last week, IDF incrusion into Palestinian controlled area Kalkilye thwarted a massive attack on Tel Aviv Azerieli Center Skycrapers. An elite army unit managed to stop a truck filled with expolsives before it could dispatched to its intended traget.
Secuirty officials say that the terrorits planned to park the truck in one of the underground parking lots beneath Israel's tallest building, leading to many tens of thousands of causualties. At least two Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) members were arrested in connection with the attempt.
The Times report added that Officials are not ruling out of the possibilty that a small plane that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon last year was on its way to crash into the towers. the plane was shot down by Israel Air Force.
