| 9) Rich- Well the downward spiral continues for the former champ. How do you expect to win if you don't show? Rich needs to find that lightning once again to electrify the SnakePit. Dont fizzle out junior. |
| 7) Swido- Even in retirement rumors still abound that Swido could be back. Once the rust is gone he could be at the top again but until then the sausage King is lucky number 7. |
| 1) Baptista- What can we say. Mike was 1 win away from the SnakePit title. Then later winning the MMO only confirms he is the top contender this year. Only problem is he doesn't have Murph to back him up. We shall see. |
| 3) Snake- To be the man you gotta beat the man. This season Snake is 8-0 with pre season wins over Linus, Chuck and JB. Age does not seem to be a factor for the Snake. |
| 2) Murph- Murph finally reached the top at the 08 MMO. Now with gold around his waist he is getting the respect he has been waiting for. Its about time you pussies realized I'm the man. |
| 6) Swannie- He may be the genius behind the reading of the times but the skills in the SnakePit still need some work. With wins over JB and Linus in 08 there is still a glimmer of hope. But he needs a breakout performance to shine like the star that he is. Twinkle twinkle baby. |
| 8) Chuck P- AKA Quadzilla, Chuck says he has a leg uip on the competition this year. His new found footwork may help but it would appear that Chuck is still a year or 2 away from his prime. Keep on fightin Chuck. |
| 10) Price- Johnny did have the 1 win over Chuck in 08 but thats not much to brag about. Price would like to move the SnakePit to 34th Street cause he needs a miracle in 09. |
| 11) Keith- Everyone welcome the latest youg gun to throw his hat into the ring. Keith, aka The Hammer, may be a rookie but he is a world class athlete. Lets see if JB's good pal has what it takes. |

| 5) Linus- With rumors of lots of practice for the Kid maybe this could be his year, as long as he doesn't have to face Snake. Linus is looking for the Double Crown this year which nobody has ever done. Wow. |

| 4) JB- The sophomore jynx took its toll on the young contender in 08. Linus says he was a one hit wonder. JB has a lot to prove this year. |
