I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. Well, let's see, where should I start. My name is Cyn, I'm 23 years old, married for a little over 2 years, and have 2 wonderful children. My daughter is 5 years old and my son will turn 2 in December. I'm a stay-at-home mom and enjoy it very much. We live in a small town in Texas, in fact, we've lived here our whole lives. I like it here, but sometimes it gets way too small. We have 2 Labrador Retrievers that eat us out of house and home. Sometimes I wish they bred miniature Labs so one big bag of dog food would last longer than a week. We're going to see if they breed since we have a pair. But if they don't that'll be fine. After all, what am I going to do if I can't get rid of all the puppies?

My #1 hobby right now, besides pen pal-ing, is collecting Ty beanie babies. I started collecting them in December of '99. My husband gave me the Platinum Kit for Christmas and it's just snowballed since then. I consider myself addicted. I mainly collect the bears but I have a few other animals, including a 3rd generation hang tag/1st generation tush tag Kiwi the Toucan which I'm so proud of. He's just so pretty.

I also collect angels, bears of all sorts (whether it's a plush stuffed animal or a figurine), and Americana. I'm also getting in the moon/stars/sun motif but I only have a couple of items. My computer desk is decorated with a tiger motif which I love, so I'm always trying to find a little something to add to it. I love to garden, especially roses. They are my favorite flowers. Every Spring I buy 1 or 2 rosebushes from our nursery here in town and start planting.

Well, as you all know, I definitely enjoy pen pal-ing. I just started recently. I have my mother-in-law to thank (or blame). I've always enjoyed long letter writing. One of my pet peeves is when you write a long letter to someone and they send you back a one page letter, front only. I don't have that many pen pals because usually the people that want to start writing are my age, but they're single or have no children. Well, you can't please everybody.

I'm a huge fan of WWF wrestling. I watch it every Monday and sometimes on Saturday, since Smackdown doesn't show here on Thursdays. My favorite wrestlers are the Holly cousins, the Hardy Boyz, Steve Blackman, and of course The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I'm always looking for new pen pals so if I sound like a match to you, just email me. I do both snail mail and email. The only requirements I have are no chain letters, no men, and definitely no prisoners.
