I've been writing a lot of short poetry lately. Not a lot of poetry, but what I write is short. Only two or three lines. A lot of the number three popping up in them, or I notice it more after reading that intercultural communication book about the importance of three in the english language and Western culture. Hmmm... anyway, yes, all my poems (which i cannot judge as bad or good--mostly bad) have been very short, and the ones that aren't short are quite obviously terrible. If I get around to it I'll post a bunch of them in "pages". Maybe. I'll consider it. I don't like other people getting ahold of my poetry because it's not *for* you all, it's for me. They are not so much poems usually as things-to-do-when-bored and memory-triggers--a couple lines that remind me of exactly how I felt at a given moment. I don't know what the ones like that do for other people, what memories they trigger if any. That would be an interesting topic. If I *do* post those poems, you should email me with your responses, and if I'm feeling particularly ambitious I'll post them (no editing unless requested) on the site somewheres. If you send me poetry I'll read it, maybe respond, but not post it. That's why this part of my website is "Mysyte". Mine. Kay. I have to go pick up my cousin from work soon, so I should go. Or...post poems. Right. I can do that. In one big page. Check pages to see if I did it, that will give me motivation to actually do some of them. I don't edit. Ever. So they're all exactly as the moment or the moment-right-after I wrote them. Go look! Maybe. I got bored.
