This is an educational comic booklet put out by the National Association of Conservation Districts. Birds are the primary focus of this booklet. Every page is filled with a variety of birds. This booklet describes "basics" such as types of birds, bird anatomy, how they live, eat, survive, variety of habitats they live in, migration, noises they make and the food they eat. Man's relationship with birds is also presented in a fashion of ways we harm bird habitat and also ways we can help in spite of it by providing food, water, shelter and general habitats as an alternative to their lost natural habitats. |
