| Summary |
Warm and fuzzy pictures portray life as young and fresh. Flowers, carved landscape and life is all abuzz as the spring season and the Easter stage is set. With the exception of the Swan and the mother duck, all other animals are young, perhaps freshly born this spring. Little Duck sets off to find an Easter Egg of gold. Behind practically every page, the reader is welcomed to flip open an extended page each showing a different colored, shiny egg. They are all very nice, but not the one Little Duck is looking for. In the end the egg is found, but not quite what you might expect. |
