| Summary | Simple, clean, and colorful pictures appeal to very young readers in this portrayal of Baby Donald Duck making a snowman. In the process, various shapes are introduced to help a child recognize them. There is one twist in the book that shows how, er childish, babies can be. Although babies generally thought of as bundles of joy, there is one page that shows how direct and rude, in adult terms, babies can be. That is how life is, mostly good, but a little sour in there too. This is by no means the primary focus of the book and this comment is not meant to override the other great qualities of this little board book. |
