Dusting off the bowl of business

Established in 1929 after the market crash that kicked off the great depression the Rocking N ranch has been locally owned and operated for three generations. While initially operated solely as a beef ranch specializing in micro breeds for sustainable farming amid resourse constraints. Earl Fish made a habit of branching out and helping his neighbors. At first hauling farm equipment and implements from ranch to ranch he quickly had more contracts than time and people could allow. After bringing on his son in law David Nelson and his Grandson Mike Nelson business went to booming. In the years after those first few handshakes Rocking N trucking was born. Now 75 years in the making with a fleet of 235 trucks and another 150 owner operated we are equipped to move freight across the whole of the south.

Whether it be beef to buldozers we can move it. We pride ourselves for being more customer focused than any other industry leading transportation company. We started small and it is our pledge to assist the little guy first. You are the life blood of this great contry and we would be honored to help by being the heart of reliablity that can keep that blood pumping.

The Ryme to Reason

The purpose of this website is to promote the Rocking N trucking company and expand its reach to futrue clients and business opertunites. The design choices made here were chosen on the basis of less is more, a clean sharp page is easier to navigate and presents a less clutterd experience for users who may be unfamiliar with using digital means to do business. From the earth tones that are calming and easy to view to the wide use font selection each element was chosen for overall usabilty and comfort. Future choices or planned expantions of this page would be along the lines of a more dynamic form for the orders page one that could submit information to another server then generate a responce email. I feel that if I could develop a better mastery of z level usage there could be more layers to this site that would aid in the making it more visualy apealing.
