L is for Leprechauns

We participate in many activities for St. Patrick’s Day.  A fun and edible activity is making
“Luscious Leprechauns” for snack time.  The children listen to the story The Luckiest Leprechaun
written by Justine Korman and Denise Brunkus.  We review letter Ll and connect the story to ideas
about
friendship.  While making the snack, the children wear their leprechaun masks that they made
during center activities.
