Mrs. Chrissy Allen's Kindergarten Class
Norwood Avenue Elementary School
Port Jefferson Station, New York

One of the components of our Early Literacy Program is to provide opportunities for the children to locate, and eventually read, several high frequency words.  After reading the nursery rhyme Rub-a-Dub-Dub, we went on a word search for some of these high frequency words, such as a, in, and, the, you.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

Rub-a-dub-dub,
Three men in a tub.
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker,
All of them gone to sea.
