D is for  Dirty Dirt

While studying adjectives that compare, my class read Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion.  We talked about how
he got very dirty, dirtier, even dirtier, and then became the dirtiest dog of all.  Getting so dirty caused Harry
to get one of the soapiest baths he had ever gotten.  All of this getting dirty then getting soapy made Harry very hungry.  To remind him of his dirty day we made some edible dirt and enjoyed eating it in his honor.  You should
enjoy eating some too.
