While reading the story The Wolf's Chicken Stew,
we
noticed that the wolf gave the chicken all sweets to try
and fatten her up. We decided to make a list of healthy snacks that the wolf would bring now that he and the chicken are friends. Of course we listed lots of yummy fruits and veggies that he could bring. This was our favorite snack! This snack serves 4. After creating our snack, we figured out how many bananas the wolf would need to create 100 crunchy banana boats for his new friends. Ingredients:
1 medium banana 2 tablespoons of peanut butter * 2 tablespoons of granola * fruit flavored cream cheese could be used instead of peanut butter Directions: 1. Halve the banana lengthwise 2. Spread one cut side with peanut butter 3. Press granola into the peanut butter 4. Top with other banana half 5. Cut filled banana in half crosswise 6. Enjoy! Project Home |
