A is for  Apple Trees

During September/October, we take our class apple picking.  We bring our apples back and do various
projects.  This project includes learning about that famous person Johnny Appleseed.  We read  Johnny
Appleseed by Steven Kellogg.  This book tells the lively story of a true American hero.  The students enjoy
both hearing the story and viewing the magnificent pictures.  To conclude, we enjoy the following
delicious treat.
