F is for Fruit
Kabobs
Our class read and enjoyed Mr.
Putter and Tabby Pick the Pears by Cynthia Rylant. After
learning about the wonderful fruits that Mr. Putter can grow on his fruit trees, and seeing what scrumptious things can be made from these fruits, we decided to create our very own Fantastic Fruit Kabobs! Ingredients: 1 honeydew 1 cantaloupe 1 bunch of grapes 1 package of blueberries 2 mangos 1 package of strawberries skewers Directions: 1. Cut up the melon and mango into
bite-sized pieces
(or ask an adult to cut it up for you!) 2. Wash the grapes and strawberries. 3. Create a pattern by alternating the fruit and "sticking" it onto the skewer. 4. Enjoy your colorful, healthy creation! ![]() Project Home |
