WELCOME TO MY 3D-DESIGN PAGE
Building models is becoming more essential for me to learn, improve, and perfect.  Here are some very different examples of 3D-model building.

This was a contour line project.  Different gauges of wire were used to represent different parts of the object, and soldering was the means for attatching the various pieces together.  All of the wire was hand bent (except the coil, which was wrapped around a metal pipe).
In this project, morphing a man-made object (clothespin) into an organic object (starfruit) was the focus.  Roma platilina (which is similar to clay) was used to construct the objects, and an exact resemblance of the first and last objects was crucial.
I used corrugated cardboard to build this form.  The goal was to create a geometric object, and follow guidelines in terms of principles and elements of design.  In order for the large curved surface to bend so gradually, every corrugation was scored on the back side.  The bonding agent was hot glue.
