I met Vicki accidently on line. I was browsing AOL Digital City for business contacts. I happened to see an add for romance connections in the same area, so I thought, what the heck... and browsed the ads in my area with pictures attached. Lo and behold, I saw the most beautiful girl in an ad right here in my area. I responded with an e-mail and couldn't wait to check my mail later!

She responded and seemed really nice so we started exchanging email every day. She had all the qualities I was looking for... trustworthy, loving, and faithful!! Didn't know that these even existed in a woman in these times.

We decided to meet after emailing for a couple weeks and it happened we only lived about 5 miles apart. We met at a local restaurant. I was so nervous I almost left, but stayed and we met.

We had a wonderful time, ordered, but neither of us ate much. We were both so nervous... at least I was!! She said she was nervous too, but I couldn't tell.

When we had to leave (I was working nights at that time) I walked her to her car thinking "I hope this isn't the last time I ever see this woman"... afraid to kiss her. Just before she got in the car, sensing my shyness, she asked ME if she could give me a hug!!! Of course! She asked me if someone got close to me would I push them away. I was thinking, "Are you crazy!!! You???"

She said I could call her at home, and well, the rest is history. She is now my wonderful wife and my best friend!!! I have NEVER honestly been this happy in my life. I guess dreams can come true. I never thought these things really happened and had always looked down on online dating services... till now.
