the final chapter

The first of the year brought nothing new for me and Moe. Conversations were shorter and more and more time passed between contacts. I knew we were running out of things to say.

Spring came... and spring went.

Its now September, and I haven't heard from Moe for months. I sent a couple of emails during the early summer and did receive a few one liners in reply. I told Moe that I had met someone from the internet real time, and that we were interested in each other. To that, I got a "good luck" reply.

The lack of chemistry between Moe and I and the distance between us made a real time relationship impossible. Has the distance not been present, who knows, maybe the chemistry would have manifested itself over time. Who can say?

It was my wish that Moe and I would remain friends. He has a lot of qualities that I admire... not to mention that he was a lot of fun. I hope that whatever he's doing in life, it's going well for him.
