Well, I have just officially started a new semester.  I am classified a junior.  Can you believe it?  Me a junior in college?  Who would have thought this would ever happen to me?  I surely did not think it would happen!
I guess that is how we all feel when we first start our college career.  Unsure feelings of whether we will succeed or not.  Then we have the feelings of Gee wiz! How do they do it?  I have had those feelings.  I can relate to them!
Knowing that soon my college career will be ending within the next two years also makes me sad.  I thoroughly enjoy completing my classes and there are times when I really do not want to leave the campus!
I would like to know from you, where do you see yourself in your junior year?  How are you feeling now that the first dreaded assignment has been turned in?  A sigh of relief?  Or is it the beginning of something wonderful that awaits you down the road?  Please write to me and let me know how you are feeling in this second month of your college career.

Mentor Minutes
How would you like to make your writing skills, and opinions, work in your favor?  I have found this really great site called http://www.epinions.com.  At this website, you can write your opinions on everything from fast food places to how to cope with sibling rivalry.
Each time your opinion is viewed, you receive a penny per opinion viewed.  I like using this service because not only do I get paid for my opinions and for my writing, but it gives me a chance to receive constructive criticism on articles I do write for the website.  Thus, improving my writing skills!  Check it out and let me know if you sign up so I can read your opinions!!

Meeting Mentees
During my last return, I had the great pleasure of meeting two of my mentees.  I was ecstatic to meet them!  Both ladies were so very nice to me.  Next month I will have pictures in the newsletter and a little article on what we did when we met.  Anita and Jeannie you both are so great! Thanks for meeting me while I was up there!
Also, a special thank you to my friend Karole, who is also a mentor, for coming to the hotel to see me before I left that Thursday morning.  I was lucky enough to meet Karole at the mentor meeting and we have stayed in touch since.  As she has said (in Bridges) we have begun to mentor each other.
