To the mentees that started their first semester in February- tell me, how are you feeling with August being less than three months away?  Are you excited about starting another semester?  Are your grades better than what you had anticipated them to be?
I remember my first return.  I was excited and nervous about it!  I remember most of the questions I had to:  Where do I go?  What do I do?  How long will it take?  Let me reassure you, returns are really easy as long as you arrive ON TIME!!
I can tell you that you will get a packet of information before your return which will include:  dates to choose from, times (morning or afternoon), what you plan on taking your next semester, if you plan on staying somewhere, the latest in AFC and online classes and a letter explaining what you have to do.
Once you return your papers, dates and appointments are then set and you will received another small packet of information.  This will include a little parking sign you put in your vehicle, your tentative schedule, and anything else that may be of vital importance.
Again, I cannot stress how important it is that you are on time (or even a few minutes early!).  If you are late, that will make other appointments late.  If something happens where you will be extremely late or you cannot make it at allCALL THE WED OFFICE right away!  They get concerned when someone does not show up!
I think that covers a return!  I always look forward to my returns, not so much because it means I am that much closer to graduation, but because I absolutely love the campus and I love the surrounding area.  My boys have already asked their dad three times if we can move to Terre Hauteso do not be surprised if in the future you get mail from me saying Were moving!  Now if I just convince their dad..  Until next time...take care!
