Sean and I have been together for 12 1/2 years.
We first met in Rotorua NZ at a work sports event.
4 months later we were engaged, amd l iving together in Auckland. 
After getting married in 1991 we decided in  May '96 to 
move to Christchurch. Now 6 years on there is no
turning back. We love it here.

Glenda:

I am now a full time stay at home mum and
although it has its moments I wouldn't
have it any other way.

It seems a life time ago but prior to this
I worked in the insurance industry for 11 years.

I come from a family of 5 children of which I'm in the middle.
My two brothers and sister live in Auckland
and my other sister lives in Wanganui.
I also have 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
My Dad lives an hour away from us and my Mum sadly passed away
in November 1997.

When I find time to myself (not very often these days)
I try to do some reading, cross stitch or walking.
I also enjoy meeting friends for coffee,
checking out my numerous parenting boards on the internet,
chatting to other Mums about our kids. and gardening.
I am also Treasurer for our local Playgroup
and only last week joined the committee
for Troy's Scout group.
More often than not though I'm always running here and there what with
school,  playgroup, sports practice, and Cubs.

Sean:

I was born on the East Coast of the North Island of N.Z in 1969.
I was brought up in Hamilton, Gisborne & Rotorua.
I went to Western Heights High School in Rotorua.

I also come from a family of  5 with 3 girls and 2 boys.
My eldest sister Michelle is in Holland,
my older brother Darren and my younger sister Ruth  are in Hamilton,
middle sister Jill is in Mount Maunganui , my Father is in Tauranga and 
my Mum passed away November 2001.

I am currently a Telecommunications Consultant at NRMA Insurance (NZ) Ltd
after having worked for the company since 1987.
