Mary Wilburn McCorkle
The picture to the left was taken one day at an amusement park.  My sister was 17, our mother was 37, and I was 15.  Our dad was taking the picture.
The pictures to the right were combined for a frame that hangs on the hall wall in my home.  The top picture was taken at Glamour Shots as a gift from my sister.  The picture in the middle was on my wedding night.  Our pearls and lace on our dresses were tangled several times that night.  My father-in-law saw that as a sign that I didn't want to leave my mother.  The bottom picture was something taken in fun a few years ago.
The picture to the left have four generations of women on my mom's side of the family.  From left to right we have Mom with her granddaughter, me, and my mom's mom.  This was taken on Easter in 1998.
The picture on the upper left was taken at a zoo trip.  Mom always looked forward to feeding the giraffes.  The picture to the right was taken outdoors.  Mom loved working in the yard outside.  Whether planting a square-foot garden, flowers, azaleas, or trees she was always glad to use her time to grow things that would be appreciated later.
