Annual THIMUN trip cancelled!
The annual Sidcot THIMUN trip has been cancelled this year due to ''lack of interest''. This is real blow to the smunc programme as this is the clubs largest conference of the year.!
Congratulations to ALL Sidcot Model UN (S.M.U.N.C) delegates. Of 2002-2003. You have all been outstanding and we would like to take this opportunity to send out an exceptional recognition to:
The Ambassador of Sweden, James Flower
The Ambassador of India, Sam Foster
The Ambassador of USA, Matthew Jameson
All of whom have shown exceptional fulfilment in the representational of their respective Country and therefore received the diplomacy certificate. At all times they have shown extreme diplomacy at all costs and whom we believe in a short space of time will aspire into fully professional ''mun'rs''.
Last Conference
Resolution on provision of and access to safe drinking water; submitted by the WHO, was finally passed after a gruelling diplomatic fight between namely, Sweden and Spain, which concluded in a major comprimisation on Spain's behalf.

This Conference Was also Michael's First in the form of Chairing, which we feel despite his own negative feelings towards his chairing, he coped rather well. Well done Mike!!
