after the snore-fest rip-off that was miyako, i decided to download kagrra's next album instead of buy it. lets see how it went. XP
Murakumo
okay, wtf? lol. really creepy intro track. isshi mutters his way through this, until near the end, where an eerie chorus comes in.
Gen ei no katachi ~san remix~
okay, more kagrra-ish now. a really pretty song, i love the chorus alot. i like this album better than miyako already.
Ibitsu
i love the main guitar riff of this song. it's not under-played, or over-played, i just really like it fer some reason. =o this song sounds rather tragic to me, i don't know if its meant to? i haven't got translations for this album yet. x.x what a i love about listening to kagrra with earphones, is you get different stuff in each ear. =3
Oni o awaremu uta
whoa, this a bassy song. the constant dundundun gets a bit annoying, but thats about it. the chorus is kinda pretty, but nothing overly special.
Satsuki
omg. i love this song. *fangirl squeal* everything about this song is really cool. the melodies are great, so are the riffs, and the chorus is so lovely they play it a million times. and it never gets boring. this song = love.
Boufura
this song starts off kinda heavy and low, so its kind of a shock when isshi comes in. =o lol. this song is fairly simple most of the time, but something about it really works.
Omou ~san remix~
this doesn't sound much different from the original version, but i haven't heard it for a while, so i dunno. ^^; this song isn't amazing, but it's not exactly bad anyway. easy-listening, but catchy too. so everyone wins.
Meguru
this song bores me a bit. the verses get kinda repetitive, and nothing interesting really happens. a little bit too easy-listening.
Izanai no jukai
the beginning always makes me jump, cause mostly liekly i've fallen asleep by the end of meguru. a much livelier song, with proper riffs this time. pretty chorus again, and the bassline really catches my attention alot for some reason. coolness.
Himitsu
nothing really stands out in this song. kinda drags along, bleh, nothing really hits me. chugs right the way 'til the end.
Sarasouju no komori uta ~san remix~
wow, an easy-listening kagrra song that doesn't bore me. it's pretty enough to keep me entertained for five minutes, and its nice and flowy. funfun.
Arishihi no bishou
okay, last song, lets make it a good one. okay, it is a good one. =D the chorus is really cool and contrasts alot with the sad-sounding verses. really cool.
Overall-
well, much better than miyako, but it would be pretty easy for kagrra to beat that. some of these songs i love alot, and others i think will grow on me over time. so yes, i wouldn't have minded buying this album (and getting omg-trading-cards), so yay. ^^
