i must confess, i didn't buy this album. i downloaded it. =x but i've already spent like, £100 on their dvds and other related products, i couldn't really afford to buy it. ^^;
Intro
i hate intros. this one is no exception. it sounds like it should be on a 50 cent album, not on a gazette album. -.-
The $ocial Riot Machine$
the only thing i hate about gazette, is that they insist on doing this really .. annoying repetitive loud songs, that don't compare to some of their other stuff. .. this is one of those annoying repetitive loud songs. lol. it's not the worst, but, meh, it sucks a bit.
Carry?
from the beginning, you may think this is gonna be the same as the last song. but don't worry, you're wrong. lol. once the first verse starts, you can tell its not gonna be that bad. all this song's in english, not very good english, but english nontheless. ^^; i love ruki's voice in this song (the whole "i'll love you forever" bit at the end is like.. so adorable), and i love the chorus. definetly one of my favourite gazette songs.
Zakuro kata no yuuutsu
this song is very busy, and alot of things are going on at the same time. but i like this song. ^^ its very catchy and bouncy, but sounds really.. tragic all at the same time. and trumpets! trumpets everywhere! methinks you can either love or hate this song.
Maximum Impulse
i still don't really know what to think of this song. lol. it's a pretty.. unique one. with pretty hardcore bits, then lighter catchy bits. the 'woooaaoaaah' bits are kinda cool, yet irengrey-ish. lol. so yeh, its okay, but its up to you.
Hana kotoba
this is another i-don't-know-song. lol, its fairly calm compared to the previous songs, and has a kagrra kind of vibe going on. its not very special, but its not really bad either.
Tokyo Shinjuu
ahh, i love this song. the guitars are awesome, and ruki's voice really suits this kind of song. its very bouncy, yet tragic again, and very catchy. i can listen to this song over and over without getting bored. ^.^
SxDxR
the title stands fer sex, drugs n rock n roll. arn't i clever? but whatever. yeh, this song scares me a bit. its not everyday you hear a short li'l japanese vocalist you the words 'suck' and 'my' and 'dick' in the same sentence. i like the chorus though. lol. the rest of it is kinda mental. very punk rock. o.o;
Anti Pop
haha, the beginning makes me chuckle. 'say something outrageous' - 'dirty fucker'. lol. i think its from a sex pistols interview if you're interested. the chorus makes me chuckle, as its in english.. i think. also has the words 'motherfucker' going on. lol. but yeh, very mental and fast. very.. er, anti-pop.
7gatsu 8ka
this sounds alot like older gazette songs, especially the beginning, so if you liked wakaremichi, red motel, etc, you'll probably like this. ^^ very catchy and w00t.
Saraba
yay, i like this song. its pretty long, a little over six minutes, its pretty calm and very tragic-sounding, kinda plods along a bit, but very nice. ^^
Disorder Heaben
i always wanna change the 'b' to a 'v', but no, its a b. which irritates me. lol. this sounds faintly like that gangster's paradise song. lol. but yeh, it suits a 50 cent album again, not a gazette album.
Overall-
hm. i like this album, but i don't think it compltely shows off gazette's talents and stuff. it covers alot of genres, but not all of them they are great at. i think they should stick to more madara-vibe stuff. but, y'know, thats just me. ^^;
