i have to admit i didn't buy this album. i downloaded it. and i have no clue about d'espairsray, apart from about three songs. =x but here we go. also, the playlist i downloaded is in a different order to another one i have.. so.. if stuff is in the wrong order, sorry. x.x
Infection
when i first heard this, i thought, 'oh god, another instrumental first track >_<', but it just had a long intro. phew. hizumi sounds like ville valo from him a bit in this. i think. ish. the choruses are heavier than the verses, a bit more catchier. very gothic, but its d'espairsray, so you would expect that. right?
Dear
i love the intro for some reason, but the rest of this song kinda drifts by without doing too much. i like the guitars and random violins though.
In vain
the intro sounds very similar to born.. or garnet, i can't remember which. the verses are fairly fast compared to the chorus, which are kinda cool.
Grudge
i love the guitars in this song, and i really like random keyboards in songs too, so that's another thumbs up. nothing else too special about this song though.
Tsuki no kioku
more random keyboard action! yay! there's alot of wierd technological effects as well. and i hear an acoustic guitar? and english lyrics, well there are quite a few on this album it sounds like. anyway, i like this song, it mixes alot of very heavy and very soft parts. the chorus is great and very easy to get into.
Hai to ame
this song reminds me of the rasmus for some reason. i think its just the intro though. more random keyboards too. i really like the chorus (again) but that's about it that really stands out.
Abel to caine
isn't this title something to do with the bible? o_o but, whatev. livier than the last couple of tracks, with plenty of random electrionic effects rammed in. the chorus is a bit sing-songy which is cool, and yes, more keyboard action.
Tainted World
nothing overly great going on here. a tad catchiness going on, and fairly easy to get into, but meh.
"Forbidden"
this is a little better. there is more variation in this song. i like the verses cause they're quite bouncy, and i like the chorus cause it's really catchy.

Marry of the Blood 'bloody minded mix'
ew, is this a remix? well, i haven't heard the original, but it must be better than this. not too bad for a remix, though.
Born 'white stream mix'
okay, i have heard the original of this. screwy kinda remix, but once it gets going and you get used to it, it's not so bad.
Overall-
w00. i'm okay with this album. a little more variation would be nice, but it's still a pretty cool album. i think d'espairsray's fans will like this. ^^;
