Visit the Natural History Museum
I love the history museum, it's beautiful.  It was designed by Manchester architect Alfred Waterhouse to be a cathedral to nature, and I have to say it's the most impressive cathedral I've visited.

You were probably anticipating some pictures of dinosaurs, the theme being named after Jurassic Park, but to be honest, I've spent so many lunchtimes and free afternoons wandering round the exhibits and not really studying the building, so I thought I'd do that for a change.  I've made two visits so far, as I was sleep deprived and not used to mum's camera the first time round.  The second visit, I'd had a friend help me with the camera and had discovered my night time flash, which is very handy in a dark museum.  I did notice on my last visit that they have an audio tour about the building, so I think I'll have to go back and do that at some point too!

I've split my photos vaguely into sections, to help with download time.  They are
Outside the museum
The main hall
The Earth galleries
Windows
Ceilings
Carvings and Columns
