Make some jewellery
At our county exec weekend, Joan brought lots and lots of beads, for us to make stuff with.  Inspired by her very cool, and very written in Russian, bead book I set out to make a bracelet.

Our pattern was the standard daisy/flower pattern (one centre bead with 8 around it) so I was going to do three separate strands in blue, red and green, but when I got to the end of the red strand, I decided to join the blue one to it, then decided at the end of that one that the third stripe would look much better in red than green.  I then put a row of black at each end, and stuck a clip on.  I'm impressed for my first attempt at beading!
I also decided to have a play with copper wire again, so I made a 3 strand plaited bracelet and a 5 strand one.  Unfortunately, Dad's DIY pliers aren't designed to make nice, smooth wire ends for bracelets, so I don't really wear them.
