| At our county exec weekend, Joan brought lots and lots of beads, for us to make stuff with. Inspired by her very cool, and very written in Russian, bead book I set out to make a bracelet. Our pattern was the standard daisy/flower pattern (one centre bead with 8 around it) so I was going to do three separate strands in blue, red and green, but when I got to the end of the red strand, I decided to join the blue one to it, then decided at the end of that one that the third stripe would look much better in red than green. I then put a row of black at each end, and stuck a clip on. I'm impressed for my first attempt at beading! |

| I also decided to have a play with copper wire again, so I made a 3 strand plaited bracelet and a 5 strand one. Unfortunately, Dad's DIY pliers aren't designed to make nice, smooth wire ends for bracelets, so I don't really wear them. | |||||||||||||
