"Believe it or not", it has been 40 years and we still all weigh and look the same -- amazing! Well, it is time to get together once again while we still can (move around, that is) and remember some of the "best years of our lives"--- also while "we still can" --remember........that is! |

Our esteemed and beloved Class President for our 4 years at GHS, John Civils, has with the able assistance of his Reunion Committee, set the date for our 40th class Reunion ---- for those who can make it early, we will begin on Friday, 6 August 2004 followed by the major activities on Saturday, 7 August, and will leave Sunday open for those who want to spend some additional private time with friends and family. More details will be posted later but we need you to post these dates to your 2004 calendar NOW ---- no excuses accepted. We need you here! You have spent the past 25 years arranging your schedule to suit your kids --- now let them plan around you. In fact, bring your kids --- Allyson's lovely daughter has actually enjoyed attending planning sessions with the Reunion Committee --- so she can "put the faces with the names" she has heard so much about. Your family will like seeing "the way it used to be!"
All kidding aside, you need to be here in August 2004! |

This is a class project and we need YOUR input, suggestions and assistance! Let's try and locate all of our classmates, teachers and even those who might not have finished with us in 1964 due to parents' moving or whatever but were still a big part of our youth. Make time to make this our best reunion ever! It will not be the same without YOU.........
Sure, the "guys" will let Jane Anne, Allyson, Frances and Harvey do most of the hard work but we will be there when credit is passed out --- will YOU!? |

Jim Adkins: recently retired in Vienna, Va and has just taken up golf when Linda lets off from his grand-father duties.
Sue Avery: Deceased -- beloved by all. Pep Club VP and Cheerleader
Lonne Baker: retired from coaching but lured back this year to revive the Kinston HS football program. Lead the team to the State Playoffs! "Meatball" Thompson would be very proud. Lives in Snow HIll...........
Tommy Barton: lives in New Bern where he has an appraisal company
Joyce Faye Beamon: need your help locating her. Our last records show her married to a Charles Zavala. Please help us locate Faye!
Joe Bentley: Deceased --- an important & cherished friend in many of our lives. What a smart and super nice guy............ |
