The 2008 AFRICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL Postponed to the Weekend of April 25th 2008. South African Airways Has Confirmed its Participation in The Festival By Offering Two (2) Free Airline Tickets to South Africa from North America.

The African Music Festival Group (AMFG) is excited to have The West African Highlife Band (WAHB) open up the festival's beautiful brand of Highlife music. This opening night will also feature Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca. This truly multi-cultural group will treat attendees to an innovative musical combination of Latin and African elements from Salsa to Soukous with an occasional Merengue or Afro-Portuguese excursion.

Saturday, April 26th 2008 Kotoja, with their highly animated and powerful show are sure to excite the audience with their infectious mix of African Highlife, Juju, Jazz, and World Music.

The AFRICAN MUSIC FESTIVAL was created and developed by The African Music Festival Group (AMFG) after a continuous demand for African artists and performers in the United States. The festival is aimed at uniting people of African descent from all works of life and backgrounds in the diaspora through music, education and culture. This truly international music festival is held in mid January in the beautiful city of Miami, Florida and it attracts attendees from across the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and the local Miami, Florida area.
