There is a new way for snow day information to be broadcasted. It has been developed by the Stoneham Police Department.
A horn will sound at 7:00 a.m. if there is a snow day. The horn will sound 2 times then a pause then again 2 times. This signal will repeat 3 times.
This system has been developed to get up to date snow day inforamation without calling the Stoneham Police Departement.This frees the phone lines for emergencies.
In addition snow day information is on the Stoneham T.V. channel 10. Channels 4,5, and 7 also broadcast snow day information. |
