Incoming 4th Graders,
Congratulations upon your successful completion of 3rd grade. I am sure it was a lot of effort on your part but your perseverence and dedication paid off. You and I both are in need of a nice and relaxing summer to recharge ourselves.
Enjoy all that you do in this wonderful warm weather.
4th graade will be a lot of fun yet some hard work too. I am very excited to meet all of you and to hear about your summer.
I sent home a summer skills packet with each 3rd grade student. Please keep it handy and work on it throughout the summer. All summer work is due Monday, September 8th.
Please be sure to read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
by Judy Blume, so that you can complete the worksheets.
I am looking forward to your personalized mobile and written report. I am always interested in learning about my students.
Finally, the math worksheets are a sample of a few skills in which you should be familiar. If you are struggling with a math concept, please ask a parent to make up additional problems for you to do.
The 4th grade supply list was also sent home with your summer work. I believe the stationary sale will be in August. Please check with the main office for exact dates.
If your summer work has been misplaced, an extra copy is in the main office.
Please remember to attend mass each week. I hope you have the best summer ever. See you in September.
