Sirse
Goddess of Nirvana
Return to Royal Library
Return to Enterance Hall
_
Sirse was crowned many years ago by several of the Gods of Shadowmere. These include Tryst, Tranquility, Aria and Ul-mar. She never forgot the fact that the Gods and Goddesses may have wished her upon the Throne, but it was by the will and support of the people that she remained there. She pledged her life and her lands to making Shadowmere an enjoyable place to live.

During her reign, she established the Orders of Knighthood, Royal Council and a working relationship with the many Gods and Goddesses. It was Sirse's goal to be accessible to all who sought her, no matter their rank or standing in the realm.

Her faith in her chosen God helped her to understand the many sorrows and joys in her life. She devoted herself to the teachings of Ul-mar, God of Knowledge. Her efforts were rewarded by Ul-Mar when he appointed her his High Priestess, or Oracle Prime. She remained in this office even after her death, interacting with the followers of Ul-Mar through the mists of Nirvana.

Her heart as well as many was broken when the Gods and Goddesses were cast out of the halls of the Divine. As Ul-Mar was cast out of Nirvana, all those within the mist kept watchful eyes on him and those that were close to him. When he and his bride, Chenrezi, left the realm, they returned not to Nirvana.

The search has been wide and never forgotten. It still goes strong and always will as long as there is mist in Nirvana!

Many leagues of time have passed since then. Much study and training in the ways of Nirvana have been done by the once Noble Queen of the Realms of Shadowmere. These years have given Sirse the time to observe the realm and to weep with it, laugh with it and even to grow with it.

When the Elven Cleric called out through the multiverse, there was a pull throughout Nirvana as the call sought out the former God of Knowledge. Not finding him it enveloped his High Priestess.

Sirse gathered together the Sages of Nirvana and sought their wisdom and advice in what she should do. Among them were her beloved sons, Garion and Garath. They all agreed that Sirse should return unto the realm in the stead of Ul-Mar, to continue the sharing of knowledge.

In a grand ceremony, they elevated the former monarch into their fold, making her in truth a demi goddess so that the mission of Nirvana might continue.

With her sons beside her, she accepted the task set before her, as she did so long ago when the gods themselves crowned her Queen.

Using the Guideposts of Honor, Nobility, and Wisdom as her path, return has returned to the Realm to bring the power of Knowledge to those that seek it, no matter their race, rank or affliations.

Truly a protector of Honor, Sirse does not see things as "good" or "evil" but in shades of gray. Such is the Knowledge she has learned.
