Knightly Virtues

There are many Knightly virtues that all are bound to uphold! These are liberality, honor, good faith, glory, unselfishness, pride, courtesy, bravery and loyalty.

Liberality is being generous and open minded. It is allowing for other ways of thought and for tolerence.

Honor is a sense of what is right and just and being ready to apply it to one's own conduct and to look in relation to others behavior with these things in mind. Honor is also a token of recognition for distinguished services or high merit in word or deed.

Good Faith is being trustworthy that others may take one's word alone as good. This is a combination of the other virtures and the hardest to cultivate.

Glory is being praised for actions, having renknown in an area or having great honor bestowed upon you.

Unselfishness is simply caring for others above yourself and being generous in all things.

Pride is the feeling, in proper portion, os esteem for one's own achievements or qualities.

Courtesy a formal politeness or a way of treating with favor instead of right.

Bravery is simply fearlessness in the face of danger. Courage is related but not quite the same. Courage is fearlessness in all things, in proper portion.

Loyalty is faithfulness to one's liege, country, duty or friends.
