Grant Blair
Music and Math
Grant attended the school from 1945 to 1950 as a student and returned as a teacher in 1955. From that date until 1973 he was the band sirector and led the various Monklands bands to many awards Canada and the US.  In 1973 her transferred to Lasalle High and in 1975 moved to Ontario and taught in Dorchester. He is currently retired and living in London, Ontario.

Denis Whyte
Choir
Denis directed the MHS choirs from 1965 to 1969. Later he went on to Queen's University before retiring to Vancouver BC.

George Novosel
History
George taught history in a very memorable fashion from 1962 to 1979. When the school closed he moved on to Westmount High. George is retired and lives in Montreal.

Bertha Rohr
Chemistry, Speech, Drama
Bertha began teaching in 1929 and in 1943 started a 37 year run at West Hill and Monklands. Best known for her drama productions, she retired in 1970 after 41 years of teaching in Canada and abroad. She is retired and living in Montreal.

Tom Saykaly
Tom taught at MHS from 1974 to 1978. Since that time he has taught in "drop-out" programs in Montreal.

Mary Milligan
Art, English, History
Mary taught just one year at Monklands, 1967/68, her first year as a teacher. She later taught at Montreal West High, Stewart Hall and The Study. She is retired and lives in Baie d'Urfe, Quebec.
