Hello everybody! I'm new at this kind of stuff, so gimme a break. But ok, here's all that legal crap...

Ooookay! As you guessed, all the rights go to Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of the series, a very creative person if I've ever met one.

THINGS U NEED TO KNOW B4 YOU READ THIS:

I'm sort of continuing the story, sending the famous scouts off on a sort of side mission. But these are important if you want to understand the story. #1., This is set in the future, just after Rini leaves to rejoin the sailor scouts & become sailor mini-moon. #2., Serena is now her future self, her destined image, the demure and lady-like Neo-Queen Serenity that nobody could ever picture the blonde klutz as. #3., If you don't know who Sailor Saturn is, you'd better listen carefully. Sailor Saturn is a little girl whom Rini befriends in the second version. She is very young, and is known as Hohtaruu, (Forgive me if I mispelled that, I never knew how in the first place,) in the end, she becomes Sailor Saturn, the sailor scout of destruction. There is this great battle, and Hohtaruu tells Serena that because she gave up the chalice, she can no longer help, and in turn, Sailor Satrun would die. Well, this is the continuance of that story...
PRELUDE: MEMORIES & PLANS

***********************

The demure blone queen tossed fitfully in her sleep. She was locked in a dream that she had kept having after her young, valiant, and rather foolish daughter had returned to the past to help her past mother fight for love and justice. It was always the same: It was more a memory than anything else, but still, it haunted her, because it reminded her of her failure as a sailor scout to protect her sisters at all costs. She always stood off to one side, watching, but unwatched. She saw Hohtaruu become Sailor Saturn, heard her words of forgiveness as she sent herself plunging to her death to fight the infinite monster. Though she used all her powers of persuasion to stop the kind spirit, she was bluntly reminded she had given up the chalice and therefore, could not help, which meant Sailor Saturn would surely die. She saw her past self, tears streaming down her face, begging the chalice, though it had been destroyed, to work one last time. And in her pure anguish, found she possessed a heart stronger than the chalice. But it was too late, the young girl was never seen or heard from again, execpt for the reincarnation that she had left, but, then again, that wasn't Hohtaruu. The last image of her dream was that pale fevered face, with the short-cropped black hair splayed about, lying in exhausted sleep, ever watched over by a shadowy figure. And every time she woke up, Neo-Queen Serenity knew that her dream had told true, and her friend was not dead.

The dream, having run it's course, released it's hold upon the beautiful queen, and her brow smoothed out. Slowly, those gentle, kind, genatian blue eyes fluttered open, and ex-sailor knew what she had to do. Changing into her gown, white flowing velvet, with gold trimming, and no sleeves, she let down her hair, whose two ponytails had been pinned at the top of her head to the two sphereical balls of hair that topped them. Moving swiftly, she made her way down the crystal steps, wishing that her husband, prince Darien wasn't away. She stopped in front of a tall, stone door, set there millions of generations ago, though no older than a few years, she pushed them open. Stepping into the darkness beyond, she drew the silver crystal from it's glowing watch on the pedastal and hurried on. She knew what to do. For though she was not any longer a sailor scout, the obligation to her sisters was still prensent. And there was only one person that could help her. Standing in front of another such door, she opened it and stepped into the void within. For her only helper dwelled in the gap between dimentions...
