ITINERARY

*Depart Rehoboth 4:30 or so June 21 for Dulles Airport. 3.5 hour drive, plane departs 9:20 pm. Fly SpanAir, get a hot meal.

*Arrive in Madrid, June 22, stay 2 nights. Get used to the time change.
Visit Palacio Real (Royal Palace) by bus and el museo del Prado. and photo.

*Fly to Sevilla, June 24, stay 3 nights.
Visit la catedral, la torre del oro, parque de Maria Luisa (a huge famous park), Barrio de Triana

*From Sevilla to Granada we will stop in Cordoba to see a Mosque and to eat.

*Bus to Granada, June 27, stay 2 nights.
La Alhambra,a cathedral, and the city itself.

*Bus to Marbella, June 29, stay 2 nights.
Visit la playa (beach) on the Mediterranean Sea, a popular tourist resort.

*Travel a long long way to Salamanca, where we will stay with our host families (who don't speak English) from July 2 to July 27 and take 2 Spanish classes in Spanish at the University there. I'm taking Advanced Conversation and People and Cultures of Spain. Enjoy more nightlife and write postcards to my friends. Explore the Plaza Mayor--center of town.

*Go to Barcelona July 29 for 5 nights.

*August 3rd, fly from Barcelona to Madrid to fly back home to Dulles Airport. Arrive around 3:30 pm. Drive 3.5 hour drive home.
