Basil: In Brian Jacues' novels entiled the "Redwall" series, A quick witted, retired Staghare who appears in many of the books is called Basil.

Bigwig: The strongest rabbit in "Watership Down". Though a bit thick, he is loyal and brave.

Bilbo: Though actually a hobbit, Bilbo Baggins from J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" is often reffered to as a rabbit because of his small size and excitable nature.

Blackberry: Blackberry, from "Watership Down", is definently the smartest rabbit out there. 

Black Rabbit of Inle: The Rabbit of Death from "Watership Down", this spiritual being holds all of the sicknesses that come to rabbits in his burrow. He takes all of the dead rabbits to his warren.

Bluebell: The funny rabbit in "Watership Down". He is always quick to make a joke and makes life fun for the rabbits when they are going through hard times.

Buggs Bunny: The most famous of all rabbits, Buggs is a looney toon that is funny and clever.

Coney: Also called cooked rabbit, J.R.R. Tolkien in "Two Towers" reffers to rabbits used for food as coney.

Cowslip: A rabbit in a warren that the rabbits meet in "Watership Down."   

Dandelion: The story teller of "Watership Down", Dandelion is also quite fast in running.

El-ahrairah: The prince with a thousand enemies, El-ahrairah is the Hurcules of Rabbits in "Watership Down".

Fiver: Hazel's younger brother from "Watership Down". He has preminitions and can see things before they happen, but is a runt and has low stamina.

Hazel: The leader of the "Watership Down" group. He is wise but not so brainy. He has a younger brother and though he is not the strongest, everyone respects him.

Kingcup: The name of a rabbit in "Watership Down".

Pipkin: Though very small and meek, Pipkin is the most loyal to Hazel in "Watership Down".

Rabscuttle: The best friend of El-ahrairah in "Watership Down". He is the epitomy of  loyalness.

Silver: Steady, reliable, strong and friendly sums up Silver in "Watership Down".

Strawberry: Very staightforward and blunt, Strawberry escapes from a bad warren in "Watership Down".

Thumper: The rabbit in Disneys "Bambi" is clever, fast, funny and cute.

Tribble: One of Star Trek's episodes, "The Trouble with Tribbles" features small, quickly multiplying prized pets called tribbles which (in my opinion) are  a lot like rabbits.

Velveteen: We've all heard the story "the Velveteen Rabbit", and we all know the velveteen rabbit is loving, caring and the best rabbit ever!
