Hrair-roo, meaning, "little thousand", or as we might say, "Fiver". He was the fifth rabbit in the litter and was the runt.

Fiver had the premintion to leave Sandleford warren. He, along with his brother Hazel, persuaded many rabbits to join their migration. He knew that The Shining Wire warren was trouble and helped Bigwig escape one of the wires. He also found Watership Down. When Hazel was shot, Fiver found him, even though everyone else thought he was dead.
