Creature Name: Pyry’Lorccan
General Description: A draconic race from the southern half of Dai’Wadeeya’s only continent the Pyry’Lorccan are fierce creatures. Unlike their draconic/feline cousins to the north (leodrakes) who are found in nearly every climate the Pyry’Lorccan are only found in the coldest places. Either in the highest mountains or the southern Icy Reaches the Pyry’Lorccan are solitaries for the most part. The only time that the Pyry’Lorccan are seen in groups is during mating season which only comes once a year, at the winter solstice. Only if a human makes the effort to find the Pyry’Lorccan will they be allowed at a hatching and even then they may not be bonded. Like most creatures from Dai’Wadeeya the Pyry’Lorccan don’t need to bond but unlike most only a few will if given the choice. The Pyry’Lorccan make their homes in glaciers and frozen caves of any sort so if a human intends to attend a hatching they had better wear very warm clothes.

How many offspring can the creature have at once?: Black Opals: up to 30,
Midnights: up to 20, Twilights: up to 10.
Only female’s color determines clutch size, males color determines dominate colors/sizes (i.e. Sunrise males will give more of the smaller colors, White Opal males will give more of the bigger colors).
