laid back, caring, determined, and hard to anger. once angered though very
fiery and outspoken. loves children and music.
Background:
She was the youngest of twin sisters. Both her parents, her sister and her
sisters husband and child all died in the plague leaving Maira with no family.
Maira lived in a small hold aprox. 2 days walk from Ista hold and she helped
the local harper teach the children their lessons and teaching songs so she
has some experience with the harper craft, nothing too significant though.
Since
arriving at Ista Weyr Maira has made friends and settled in. It isn't like
her family used to be but to her it seems like it will turn out just as well
if not better. Helping that feeling along is the fact that she Impressed a
dragon, she now has a soulmate. Maira wasn't expecting to Impress, let alone
a gold, so she is just happy to be in Ista right now.
