General
Description
Maerages are equine in nature and when projecting their own form appear like
smoky see-thru images of terran horses except they have small wings on the
back of all four legs right above the hoof(used to drift-not fly- on the wind
to where they are needed). Like their name implies Maerages can appear to
be mirages. They only appear to someone in need of something they deem important.
The need can be casual (i.e. friendship)or desperate (i.e. water in a desert).
They consider the people they help to be their charges, not all charges become
bond-mates.

Abilities
Maerages are capable of limited telepathy in the form of visuals and limited
speech; they visualize to their bond mate what they are thinking and use words
for emphasis. Very high empathy as well. They will do anything within their
power to help their charges or bond-mates.
Oddities
Does this creature need to bond? Yes/No: optional If yes, when?: when they
desire companionship or to save their charge from death.
Anything else odd about it, such as being able to eat only blue food: the
bond is transferable if (a)original bond-mate agrees (b)original bond-mate
dies

and then only by bond-mates

Anything else you can think of: Appears like a heat-wave off of pavement until
mature/bonded or unless projecting their own image or the image that their
charge needs to see. The exception is their bond-mate and other creatures
bonded to their bond-mate which can always see their form.

Abilities
How smart are they?: a very smart horse(5-6 y/o human) except for the empathy
which is innate and therefore incomparable.

How often can the creature get pregnant?: once their current foal is 1 year
old the mare can become pregnant again.

Coloring: All colors and markings of terran horses are possible, all colors
are see-thru smoky gray plus color.
Males~ Darker coloring equals higher rank (i.e. black=lead stallion)
Females~ Lighter coloring equals higher rank (i.e. white=lead mare)
