Maira
Name: Maira
Age: 19
Race: Ban'Badr
Description: 5'9'' curvy figure, maybe a little on the chubby side. Maira is one of the extremely rare red-headed Ban'Badr and because of this wears her hair cropped close to her head so she could wear a white cap over it in winter when she still lived among the Ban'Badr. Her eyes are a slate grey with green flecks in them.
Personality: Maira loves everybody until she is proven they do not deserve her affection. Because of this she has come to have many, many, bonded creatures. Her temper towards others is almost non-existent; when she gets really mad at someone she just walks away without an explanation. More often than not this causes the person to come back later and ask her what was wrong, normally this is a long enough time for her to calm down and she can tell them without any further confrontation. She's a very happy person who loves to socialize and tell stories of her travels.
Background:
Among the Ban'Badr she is called Dai'Maira. Because she was raised among a
Rogue clan she was treated as a princess and taught to look down on people
with less ability than her. Naturally this didn't sit well with her personality
so she left as soon as she had finished her magical training and dropped the
Dai' prefix to her name. Since she left her clan's home Maira has traveled
south of the Mountain Range that divides her people from the Plains Riders.
Along her way she bonded a great many of her critters and before long she
decided she needed to find a place to settle, a place which she and her bonds
could call home. Maira, not wanting to infringe upon the territory of the
Plains Riders approached them while the Shaman's Council was being held and
they granted her permission to use one of their older winter camps farther
south, as this would be more comfortable year-round for her many critters.
Once Maira and her current bonds had their new home fixed up the way that
would suit them they started traveling to other planets to find more creatures
to bring into their family. The Plains Riders think that Maira is a little
strange with all her animal friends but seeing as how they are an animal based
culture themselves they also revere her slightly. They call Maira and her
critter's home Sanctuary since many of the creatures Maira takes in are wounded,
sick or need help in some other way.
