Creature Name: Badri Hadian - aka Soothers
General
Description
Badri Hadian, a small dragon type without wings from the planet Dai'Wadeeya,
are the size of Terran housecats but longer with a very short fur coat that
is rabbit soft. They are commonly found with the Ban'Badr people who live
north of the mountain range that separates the single continent on the planet.
Like the people they are found living with, Badri Hadian have very pale coloring,
white to cream to light grey. Many people believe that this coloring is to
blend into their surroundings during the winter, they are wrong. The light
coloring allows them to hide in the clouds when they fly/levitate. A Badri
Hadian's purpose among the Ban'Badr people is to absorb and redirect magic
if a spell goes wrong. This is also known as "soothing the magic"
and so the Badri Hadian are often called Soothers. They are given as kits(newborns)
to the adolescent Ban'Badr who are just learning to take control of their
powers. The magic that Badri Hadian absorb feeds them and gives them their
ability to fly since they can manipulate the magic to lift them off the ground.

manipulate any magic that is not being used. It sustains them and allows them
to fly even though they have no wings.
