| I have been clogging since 1981. My 1st instructors were the Moonshine Cloggers from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. After 2 years, they moved to Nashville to open for the Grandpa Jones Road Show. I started driving to Knoxville and joined the Goode Time Cloggers directed by Lynne Goode-Ogle and performed with them for about 2 years. Dollywood was one of my first more memorable performances. In 1988, I moved close to Nashville and started looking for a team (once clogging gets into your system, you can't give it up because it is so much fun). I have danced with teams in Murfreesboro, Manchester, Chattanooga, and LaVergne. I have danced in numerous competitions and won Freestyling 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, 1997, 2nd place, Grand National Champion at Opryland competition and numerous 1st and 2nd place trophies as a competition team member. I started teaching about 10 years ago. I love choregraphing most of my routines that I teach. Other routines I teach are from attending various workshops. |
