Have you ever known something is Wrong   but you had no idea how to fix it?

I never see any mention of injury or care of the person after an   accident. I wrote this because most of the people who first start riding has   no idea how the person is 'fixed'. The best thing you can do is just go to   the ER or get an ambulance if needed. I know from experience few are going to   do that even if they know they need to.

I was going to review the ABC's of CPR and motorcycle accident care but you   can get the most up to date and accurate info of what to do from a CPR coerce.   They have them every ware. Take one if you ride. You can go to any forestation   and ask for info or call your local American Heart Association chapter

I am not an instructor but here are some of the main points  1 Call for help if the person is unresponsive or has difficulty moving-have a   cell phone on you- with a serious injury minutes save (or lose) lives.2 Don't   move someone in a motorcycle accident unless there is some other serious   danger to the person. 3 Don't get hit on the way to save someone! Just to   touch on CPR: airway is the most important step makes sure they can breath   nothing will help without that! I have seen people who basically had no heat   beat come back just from getting a little oxygen. Probably the nastiest part of most crashes is roadrash. Good gear can stop most  of that but who rides around in full gear all the time.
The key is ;to go home and make very sure all your roadrash is completely   clean. Get out ALL the dirt and rubble first thing. It is ten times worse   if you wait. It can take years for all of it to work out. You may also end up  with a tattoo. Deep cuts needing stitches need to be sewn up in a matter of   hers to avoid scars.
The best way to clean   superficial road rash I have found is to take a long bath. If you do this   immedatly after you go home you wont need to take off a layer of scabbing to   get it clean (Ouch!). Don’t take any short cuts- trust me you will pay later   if you don’t. Go ahead and use iodine hydrogen peroxide etc to clean and disinfect   at first, but the latest studies have shown them to interfere with the   healing of no infected wounds. No two doctors seem to have the same   instructions for wound care. If you have a rash or cut in an obvious place   like your face you probably want to keep ointment on constantly it until it   heals. Make sure you don’t get water or soap in it this can really interfere   with healing.  Just make sure   the roadrash stays clean! If the wound becomes red, warm to touch, or   starts to ooze puss or if you get a temp call your doctor- it may be   infected. If it is on your arm and pretty superficial it is a lot less pain simply   to let it scab over and maybe cover it with some gauze (kerleex) until it is   healed.
