Apologies for the quality of the photo. The pink is a rich shade of pink, not pastel as these suggest.
A long dress, this could fit a child until she is four years old, depending upon the size of the child.
The free coat-hanger is made from a pink/multi-coloured lace.
The rear yoke sections of this dress, which are piped in matching material are as long as the smocked section in the front of the dress. so they have a couple of small darts to allow ease of movement in the longer bodice back. There is also a generous three button rear opening allowing lots of room to pass over the child's head.
The neckline is a gathered 'broderie anglaise type' frill with blue, pink and turquoise patterned edging whilst the puff sleeves have a wide smocked band in a part pattern and a 'whipped' edging.
The smocking design, in a geometric pattern, is over an extended area that would reach to waist level. In pale turquoise, lilac and white, the design reflects some of the colours of the neckline frill.
Nape to hem this dress measures 51 cms and there is a 6.5cm hem that can be dropped to extend the life of the dress.
