Smocked Baby Dresses and Rompers
Country Girl ~ Smocked, Beaded, Embroidered Dress
This blue seersucker dress is sized to fit a six to twelve month old baby.
The free coat-hanger is made from blue lace.
White piping on the yoke front and backs together with white nylon lace trim on the collar sections and sleeve cuffs provide a pleasing contrast to the blue shade of the dress.
This dress has a generously sized two button back opening which will allow the garment to comfortably pass over your little girl's head.
The smocking design is in lilac, deep pink and green with embroidered pink 'Grub roses' and white rosebuds as part of the design. Two design rows of pink glass beads complete this pattern and the centre of each white rosebud are white pearl-type beads.
For safety's sake, these beads... as with all my beaded garments, have been triple stitched, fastened off with a couple of 'smocker's knots' and sealed with fabric sealer.
Nape to hem, the length of the dress is 40cm.
